
Troy Stubbs is a native of Charleston, South Carolina and has lived in Elmore county for the past 11 years. He holds an undergraduate degree in International Finance and Russian from the University of Alabama. In addition, Troy has two Masters degrees, one in Sport Administration and another in secondary mathematics.
Troy was elected in 2016 and currently serves as Chairman of the Elmore County Commission, representing district 3.
Recently, he joined First Community Bank of Central Alabama as a financial advisor. Troy worked in the financial services industry with Duncan-Williams, Inc. and investment bank in Memphis, TN. He also has an extensive background in life insurance and annuities, having been an Alfa insurance agent and an insurance strategies consultant for a regional bank. The Stubbs’ family also owns and operates Frios Gourmet Pops in Wetumpka, Alabama. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Association of County Commissioners in Alabama and Main Street Wetumpka.
Troy and his wife Jenny have been married for over 20 years and have four children. Isaac (19), Elsa (16), Lucas (12) and Bennett (8).
